Terms and Conditions


KNNKT requires a 50% non-refundable setup fee deposit for development work to commence. 25% of the project fee is due in the second month and the remaining 25% is due in the third month regardless of the status of the project. Should the project be finished before reaching the third month, the remaining balance will be charged before the go live date. A 10% discount will be granted to any project which is completed within 2 months of signing the quotation.

KNNKT will submit monthly invoices on the 15th of each month. Should Client opt for 3, 6 or 12 month payment schedule they will receive invoices as per selection. Monthly payments are due on the 25th of each month and will be collected via Debit Order. KNNKT reserves the right to de-activate services should payment not be made on time.  30 days overdue accounts will enter a suspension cycle that will be communicated to client in advance. A reactivation fee of R 300 will be charged on suspended sites. KNNKT reserves the right to adjust fees annually in accordance with inflation and industry standards. Should Client be discontent with work done by KNNKT he has 2 weeks to dispute the work and the charge for the work undertaken. If no claim is made within the 2 weeks the work and the related charge is seen as accepted and will have to be paid for in full. For billing queries please contact accounts@knnkt.co.za.


KNNKT Office and support hours are Monday-Thursday 09h00-17h00 and Friday 09h00-15h00. Out of office hours services need to be negotiated separately. KNNKT may in its discretion make personnel available at the Customer Locations for onsite support. Such onsite support will be provided at the rates set out in the agreement between the Customer and KNNKT or, if no such rates are set out, at KNNKT’s standard charge rates for such services. KNNKT will issue passwords but does not keep a history of any password. Passwords are encrypted and KNNKT is unable to retrieve these. New passwords need to be requested by client and changed upon receipt. The onus is on the Client to edit passwords issued. KNNKT will issue an authentication request by asking various questions to receiver of new password. KNNKT will never ask any customer for Password details. If a request is received, please check with Support at KNNKT to make sure this is not a security intrusion attempt by another party.


Each party acknowledges that all material and information which has or will come into the possession or knowledge of the other in connection with this agreement or the performance of the obligations hereunder, consists of confidential and proprietary information, which if disclosed to third parties, will be damaging. Both parties therefore agree to hold such material and information in the strictest confidence, not to make use thereof other than for the performance of the obligations under this agreement, to release it only to employees requiring such information and not to release or disclose it to any other party. Failure by either party to comply with this term of the contract shall constitute a material breach of the agreement.


KNNKT realise that their employees and contractors are a valuable resource. As such client agrees not to solicit or induce employees of KNNKT or its contractors into their employment during the term of this agreement and for 12 months after termination of this agreement.


The content added to WP websites is not monitored by KNNKT and therefore KNNKT can not be held liable for misrepresentation, unlawful behaviour and/or infringement of any sorts. Views and opinions expressed directly or indirectly by WP users are not the views and opinions of KNNKT. Content includes images, copy, media and any other form of digital communication. Unless otherwise agreed, all content must be supplied and is hence the responsibility of the Client.

  • Additional development and design features which fall outside of the project brief and/or are initiated post-production Design amendments outside of designated Design Corrections allowance.


  • Bug fixes and investigations resulting from bugs related to Client Site.
  • The provision of new releases and implementation.


KNNKT websites are mobile-friendly and site information is accessible on most mobile devices. However, we do not develop for Blackberries as Javascript support on Blackberries is poor and while all content should be legible for certain custom functionality such as forms, online shipping and login functions we do not guarantee BB compatibility.


The disk space allocated to hosting accounts may only be used to store the files required to display and manage your website and its content, and emails for up to 30 days. KNNKT reserves the right to delete any files (such as backups) stored in your hosting account and not required for the operation of your website, and all emails older than 30 days, without notice.


Annual Domain charges will be issued once annual domain fees are due, these renewals will only be effected once payments have been made. KNNKT will only facilitate domain transfers once all outstanding invoices have been paid. All domains hosted externally will need to be transferred or pointed to the KNNKT server.


Cancellation or contractual amendments are subject to one calendar months notice in writing (email, fax) by either party.
